Info/Purpose
MyFürstenberg is the login area for clients of the Fürstenberg Institute with customized content and offers from the Fürstenberg Institute, such as coaching & consulting, media library and events.
You can either register with a company account or create a user profile which allows you to save favourites, for example. To create a user profile, you need an email address.
Legal Basis
- Legitimate interest Art. 6 (1) f GDPR for the registration with a company account. The legitimate interest is the provision of digital offers to employees of client companies.
- Consent Art. 6 (1) a GDPR for registration with a personal profile.
Receiving Companies
We transmit the data collected to the relevant internal departments and external companies providing support services in accordance with the necessary purposes of processing, e.g. to ensure data integrity. The data is hosted on server facilities in Hamburg, Germany.
Deletion
If you register with a personal profile, we usually store your data for the duration of the contractual relationship with your company or until you revoke your consent in the processing of your data. For more information, see chapter 4.
Info/Purpose
With the online calendar, interested clients can directly book an appointment for coaching. The prerequisite is the creation of a user profile.
For the appointment booking, we collect customer-specific information (such as customer company or location). Gender and company affiliation are voluntary optional fields.

Legitimate interest Art. 6 (1) f GDPR in the provision of an appointment booking tool as a customer-friendly alternative for booking appointments.
Receiving Companies
We transmit the collected data for processing to the relevant internal departments and external support service providers in accordance with the necessary purposes, e.g., ensuring data integrity. The data is hosted on server facilities in Hamburg, Germany.
Deletion
Booked appointments are kept for the duration of the contractual relationship with your company.
The information about the tracking methods used can be found in the consent management platform on the bottom left corner of the myFürstenberg platform.
Info/Purpose
The chat function allows interested clients to communicate with the Fürstenberg Institute. To use the chat, you need to create a personal profile, see 3.1.
Within the chat function, following categories of personal data are processed:
- date and time of the call,
- browser type/version,
- IP address,
- operating system used,
- URL of the previously visited website,
- amount of data sent.
- only if specified: first name, last name, and email address.
- information exchanged during the chat process.

Art. 6 (1) f GDPR Legitimate interest in providing easy and customer-friendly communication as an option for interested clients.
Receiving Companies
When we process personal data, we use companies providing support and hosting services which provide us with storage space and processing capacity in their data centres and process personal data on our behalf according to our instructions. All personal chat data is processed on servers within the European Economic Area.
Deletion
Chat data will be deleted after one month.
Right Of Objection
If we process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time with future effect to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. You also have the right to object, on grounds relating to your situation, at any time with effect for the future, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out pursuant to Article 6(1) (e) or (f) GDPR.You can exercise the right to object free of charge. Right Of Access
You have the right to know whether personal data concerning you is processed by us, which personal data this is, if any, as well as further information according to Art. 15 GDPR.
Right Of Rectification
You have the right to demand that we correct any inaccurate personal data relating to you without undue delay (Art. 16 GDPR). Considering the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data - also by means of a supplementary declaration.
Right To Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten")
You have the right to request that we delete personal data concerning you without undue delay, provided that one of the grounds set out in Article 17(1) of the GDPR applies and the processing is not necessary for one of the purposes regulated in Article 17(3) of the GDPR.
Right To Restriction of Processing
You are entitled to request a restriction in the processing of your personal data if one of the conditions regulated in Article 18 (1) a) to d) GDPR is met.
Right To Data Portability
You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, common, and machine-readable format. Furthermore, you have the right to transfer this data to another controller without hindrance from us or to obtain that a direct transfer is made by us if this is technically possible. This shall always apply if the basis of the data processing is consent or a contract and the data is processed automatically. Accordingly, this does not apply to data held only in paper form.
Right Of Revocation in Case of Consent
Insofar as the processing is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent until the revocation.
Right Of Complaint
You have a right of appeal to a supervisory authority.
